Good motivational keynote speakers are worth their weight in gold. To be able to provide new forms of problem-solving to an experienced audience demands a high level of expertise.

During the course of his keynote presentation 'Success is Simple', Patrick will share with you his view of improving communication skills (you will never forget this funny piece of audience interaction). Patrick also spends some time on one of the hottest business topics of today: Brain and Memory Optimisation.

Patrick illustrates how, in today's business world, nobody suffers from physical fatigue. They suffer from BRAIN fatigue. Optimising your brain and memory in order to operate at its maximum will improve your ability to cope, survive and thrive in an ever-demanding workplace environment. Brain and memory optimisation is vital for success - and it is simple to achieve.

If you know human nature, you'll know that most people would rather be entertained than be educated. Patrick motivates his listeners by using powerful humorous analogies to support his claim that anyone can achieve their full potential by a simple process overlooked by 80% of the population. The 20% are the 'champions', the 80% are the 'spectators'.

"Patrick you were 1st class. Everyone is full of praise for the 2 day conference and you were key to its success. I thought you were great on day 1, on day 2 you were even better."
Ron Hunter - Business Service Manager, Scottish Power (March 2008)

Why use Humour in Conference Speaking?

  • Humour connects with the audience
  • Humour arouses interest
  • Humour sustains attention
  • Humour helps emphasise points and ideas
  • Humour helps relate facts and figures
  • Humour makes a positive impression
  • Humour paints pictures in the audience's mind
  • Humour makes information more memorable
  • Humour makes people feel happy

What is it that sets the humorous motivational speaker apart? The answer is – the POWER of humour. Nowadays, almost everyone has ever-increasing demands on their attention spans. Unless people hear something very interesting or humorous their attention is going to wander…

Patrick Tansey is one of the top humorous motivational speakers available today. His topic 'Success is Simple' is a dynamic laughter and learning experience. He uses liberal amounts of humour to brighten the whole meeting atmosphere. Patrick's cheerful and funny segments bring the meeting attendees out of their shell and make them amenable to new thinking and new information.

Patrick is a master at using a combination of motivation and laughter to slowly and effectively goad his audience to take part in the process of unlocking their unrealised potential.

Humour is the most reliable factor that livens up the proceedings of a business speech or seminar. Hearty laughter relaxes the mind and body muscles. The audience, instead of drifting away, stays focused, because no one wants to miss out on the next (very) funny line.

"Patrick - you were brilliant! Your feedback results from 400 conference delegates scored 95% - yours was the 4th highest of over 70 presenters that we have booked over a 3 year period."
Don Hales - Deputy Managing Director, Quest Media Ltd

After Dinner Speaking

In the midst of these challenging times, what the world needs most is laughter. And more laughter. This is the theme of Patrick Tansey's hilarious after dinner speech: "Laughter Doesn't Hurt".

Patrick was born in Dublin; a city noted for its lighthearted approach to the serious side of life. He trained as a film cinematographer and eventually obtained a position at Humphries Film Laboratory, London.

A chance event convinced Patrick that he might succeed as a stand up comedian. He consequently toured the major concert halls as the opening act for major stars. For six years, Patrick was employed by BBC television to 'warm up' studio audiences for shows such as Wogan, Blankety Blank, Paul Daniels Magic Show, Birds of a Feather and many more.

In 1993, Patrick turned his talents to the corporate world. His ability to win over discerning audiences to his philosophy that 'your attitude determines your altitude' has led to such comments as "brilliant", "uplifting" and "I laughed and laughed and laughed".

His strict adherence to using only 'squeaky clean' material has meant that over the years, Patrick has entertained the best types of people in the best possible manner.
